Subservience
Burger King has hired, as a promotion, this person. S/He is dressed up in a chicken suit, and you can type in commands in your browser for the giant chicken to perform. It's very odd.
I'm not sure what Burger King gets out of it. But it is kind of fun to see a guy in a chicken suit hop around the room on one leg.

Don Camillo
I've been hunting around, trying to find Giovanni Guareschi's series featuring Don Camillo (I've read one book, "Comrade Don Camillo"). I can't find the books anywhere.
The full text of the entire series is online, with the sketches at the beginning of each chapter.
It's a poor substitute for a real book, but it'll have to do.
For the uninitiated, Guareschi wrote the Don Camillo series as a bunch of short stories published in his newspaper "Candido", an anti-communist propaganda paper in post-war Italy.
